Mason360 Event Submissions
Reminder: An approved Mason360 event submission only approves the promotion of the event. The RSO will need to fullfill all requirements to confirm locations, speakers, funding requests, etc.
We communicate with the officer who submits the request using the Mason360 chat feature.
To advertsie your event to its full potential, submit at LEAST 10 business days before the event. Our team will review during office hours.
We will not approve events with "TBD" as the location.
How to Reserve a Classroom in 25Live
A common question for RSOs is how to reserve a classroom space.
The process is slightly different because the priority of that space is intended for the academic side of campus.
An RSO can request classroom spaces by referring to this quick how-to-guide.
Student Funding Board (SFB)
SFB Catering Requests
The RSO Is responsible for the following:
Placing the order with the vendor.
Coordinating the pick-up or delivery options with the vendor.
Being the primary contact for vendor communication.
Initiating the Payment Request for "Purchasing Card/(Pcard)" purchase for the use of the SFB funds.
Attaching an invoice or quote from the vendor to the Payment Request. Do not send screenshots of catering order.
Inquires for SFB application updates go directly to the Student Funding Board (SFB) team and not to SI Budget.
Once the RSO application approval has been received, YOU must initiate a Payment Request in Mason360 per the instructions sent in your Mason360 chat.
Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) do NOT automatically receive funding of $3,000 (Tier 1) or $6,000 (Tier 2). RSOs are required to submit an SFB application and receive approval to have access to these funds. RSOs are not guaranteed these dollar amounts as it is an application process.
Visit our website at https://si.gmu.edu/sfb/to ensure you know our guidelines and procedures!
