In this brown bag session, our panel will break down a range of sport conflicts that keep stadiums loud, college athletes paid, and influence international politics. From controversial calls on the field, NIL deals in collegiate athletics, and sport providing diplomacy - come discuss why people are so emotional for sports—and how conflict plays out on and off the field. Pack a lunch or grab some in the JC main level, and come join us in this energizing and engaging conversation before two of sports biggest events: the Olympics and the Super Bowl.
