2026 Mason Film Festival & FAVS at 20 – Day 2: Alumni Roundtable

Join us for an interactive panel discussion as FAVS alumni from the last 20 years return to campus to discuss their work and how to thrive in the ever-changing industry. This event will be hosted by Professor Tommy Britt and Professor Ben Steger.

The panel brings together alumni who have been in the industry for years and those who recently moved into the workforce. They will be having a conversation on stage about the current professional world, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

This event takes place right before the FAVS 475 Advanced Fiction Filmmaking (Junior and Senior) Showcase.

Attending the Alumni Roundtable ensures early check-in and early entry to Harris Theatre for the remainder of the afternoon.

The event is free and open to the public.

Parking is FREE in Lot K on both days of the festival. Please see the  campus map  to view the location of Lot K.

Additional parking: Mason Pond Parking Deck, located at 4500 Aquia Creek Lane, provides the most direct access to the Harris Theatre. Hourly parking rates apply.

Each attendee must have their own separate reservation for each separate event taking place during the two-day Mason Film Festival.
