A case study is a detailed, in-depth analysis of a real-life situation, event, individual, organization, or problem. It is used to explore complex issues in a specific context and understand how different factors interact. Rather than focusing on broad theories, a case study examines a single instance or a small number of cases to provide rich insights and practical understanding.

Typically, a case study includes background information, a clear description of the problem or situation, the methods used to analyze it, and the outcomes or findings. It may also evaluate possible solutions or decisions and their implications. Case studies are commonly used in fields like business, law, medicine, and social sciences to connect theory with real-world application.

For this event DECA will present a case study with facts and other relevant information's in which student will be groups to solve the case study.

Overall, a case study helps students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by allowing them to analyze scenarios, identify key issues, and consider effective solutions based on evidence.
