George Mason Call of Duty Spring 2026 Tryouts

ATTENTION ALL COD PLAYERS!
Tryouts are on the horizon, and you need to get ready for this opportunity to join one of the most competitive teams at GMU!

🔒 Team Requirements:
-YOU MUST BE A FULL-TIME STUDENT AT GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY! This requires you to take a minimum of 12 credits, if you are not taking 12 credits you will not be accepted.
-Must be available 2-3 times a week for scheduled practices/games (most often later in the day)
-Must be able to communicate effectively in voice chat
-Must follow the player contracts given to the players.
-Must be IN CALL and communicating 15-30 minutes before official matches
-Schedule conflicts are your responsibility to reschedule matches with your teammates.
-Repeated tardiness/lack of communication about rescheduling (3 minor/1 major) will lead to benching/removal from the team.
-Call of duty leagues require CONTROLLER ONLY. Thus, player on keyboard and mouse who do not switch will not be accepted. CONTROLLERS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.
-Some competitive leagues require you to play in-person, keep that in mind.

🗒️ Team Information:
GMU Patriots: Premier or "Varsity" Competitive Team, composed of Crim+ Players with lots of COD Experience, and are expected to qualify for ALL major events.
GMU Academy: Non-Premier or "Junior Varsity" competitive, composed of Gold, Plat+ Players.
