Requirements:
Must be a FULL-TIME GMU Student (minimum 12 credits)
Must be available 3–5 times/week for practice & matches
Clear comms & mic discipline required
Must be available for CR6 League
Follow player contract & conduct guidelines
Be in call 15–30 mins before matches
Schedule conflicts/tardiness = bench/removal
Team Information:
GMU Patriots: Premier or "Varsity" Competitive Team
GMU Academy: Non-Premier or "Junior Varsity" competitive
Registration Process:
Fill out the tryout sign-up form (rank, role, experience)
Tryout Format
Map Control Drills & 5v5 Customs
Operator Role Assignments & Executes
Communication & Mid-Round Adaptation Tests
Minimum 2 hrs/day during tryouts
Performance evaluated by Team Managers & Advisory Board
Final rosters announced within 1 week after tryouts
Commitment Notice:
This is more than just match days—scrims, VOD reviews, and tourneys are mandatory.
Weekends may include tournaments.
If you can’t commit consistently after 7PM, this may not be your season.
