Are you ready to take on a new type of challenge in graduate school – qualifying or comprehensive exams? Do you know how to develop a reading list or share a broad knowledge of core areas in your field? Feeling overwhelmed by the scope of your qualifying or comprehensive exam? Unsure how to balance studying with your other responsibilities? This session will help you break the process into manageable stages, discuss strategies for retaining what you read, and assist you in creating a study plan that fits your timeline to prepare and succeed for qualifying or comprehensive exam(s).
