Mosaab also serves as the acting Director for Ayin Network (3ayin.com), which has done comprehensive coverage in Sudan since 2013. Mosaab is media trainer and technical consultant who has worked extensively with civil society, media, NGOs and human rights groups in Africa, with a main focus on Sudan.

Emtithal “Emi” Mahmoud is a Sudanese-American poet, activist, and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. Born in Darfur, she moved between Sudan, Yemen, and the United States before graduating from Yale University with a degree in anthropology and molecular biology. She is the 2015 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion and author of Sisters’ Entrance, a poetry collection exploring displacement, resilience, and identity. As a UNHCR ambassador, Emi has visited refugee camps around the world, using spoken word to amplify refugee voices and advocate for education and humanitarian justice. Her performances at the United Nations and TED events have made her one of the most inspiring cultural figures of her generation.

Yousra Elbagir is a Sudanese-British journalist and writer born in Khartoum circa 1992. She studied Social Anthropology at the University of St Andrews (honours) and later trained at Columbia Journalism School. After early work in student publications, she returned to Sudan in 2015 for on-the-ground reporting, freelanced from Khartoum, and produced for Elephant Media. Her reporting and essays have appeared on HBO, Channel 4, BBC Africa, BBC Radio 4, CNN, the Financial Times, and the Guardian. Elbagir launched the #SudanUnderSanction campaign to spotlight the human impact of U.S. sanctions and covered the 2019 Sudanese revolution for Channel 4, advocating visibility for women who sustained the protests. She received the Thomson Foundation & Foreign Press Association Young Journalist Award (2016) and was named to OkayAfrica’s 100 Women list (2017). She is the younger sister of CNN correspondent Nima Elbagir.

Husam Mahjoub is a co-founder of Sudan Bukra, an independent non-profit TV channel. A telecom professional and activist, he holds master’s degrees from the London Business School and Georgia Tech and currently lives in Austin, Texas. He has published articles on politics, human rights, the economy and international and cultural affairs.
