In Fall 2025, we learned to crochet!
On December 4, we joined the Mathematical Sciences department to co-host Dr. Laura Taalman (JMU). Dr. Taalman spoke to us about mathematical crochet, specifically about cellular automata in fiber arts.
Before Dr. Taalman's visit, we organized an event where members of AWM could learn to crochet.
