We Need to Talk: How to have difficult conversations around relationships and conflicts within the home
Some information can be difficult to hear, but in order for change to happen, we have to be courageous enough to listen, learn, and discuss. Engaging in difficult conversations can create discomfort, and it's natural to want to avoid addressing these issues altogether. Join us on October 20th and 29th, where Doorways and SSAC will provide information on the dynamics and impacts of domestic and dating violence, to better understand these significant experiences and engage in meaningful conversations around these important topics.
These workshops will focus on domestic and dating violence, communication and consent, setting healthy boundaries, warning signs, safety measures, and dating in the time of COVID. We will also answer any related questions and openly discuss how to have these important conversations. All Mason students are invited to attend.

For the last 6 years, the LEAD Office, Student Support and Advocacy Center, and Women and Gender Studies have hosted campus wide programming focused on ending sexual and interpersonal violence at George Mason University. Due to COVID-19 and University safety protocol, we are hosting this year's programming via Zoom and hope you will be able to join us. This year's planning team is working hard to develop educational programming and outreach to support the Chapter Next Program. See below for a schedule of this year's Chapter Next program.
