INOVA Blood Drive in the Hub Ballroom, 10am-4pm
Register here for a space to donate blood: https://www.inovabloodsaves.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/34498. You must sign-up for an appointment to donate blood using that link. Walk-in spaces will be limited.
Pack the Truck, 10am-4pm
Donations for Patriot Pantry and Food for Others can be received outside of the HUB in the SI2GO truck!
Campus Gardens Harvesting (11:00am-12:30pm at the President's Park Green House)
Join us at the Presidents Park Greenhouse as part of this year’s Homecoming Day of Service! Volunteers will help maintain the worm compost bins, set up grow systems, treat pests organically, and transplant seedlings. Volunteers will also have an opportunity to check out our aquaponics system with live fish. Plant Pot Decorating
Bring the green and gold spirit to our very own Campus Gardens by helping to decorate plant pots!
Snack Bag Packing
In partnership with Van Metre, we will be filling bags with food items for students facing food insecurity a local area elementary school. Volunteers will be working directly 4th-5th grade students from Pattie Elementary.
Pats for Patriots
Volunteers will help submit Pats for Patriots to thank, recognize, show appreciation for a Mason colleague or student who has taken the time to do something kind, generous or thoughtful towards others. GOAL: 100 Pats
Cardboard Composting
Volunteers will work together to help breakdown and shred cardboard and paper to be used for composting in our Campus Gardens.
