Details

Celebrate Earth Day this week, by joining us for some outdoor community service. We will spend time caring for the Piedmont Trail, a 1.2-mile loop that winds through a quiet forested wetland in Manassas, located on Mason’s SciTech Campus.

While you clear trails, spread mulch, pick up trash, you can expect to see deer, birds, squirrels, and turtles!

Your service keeps the Piedmont Trail accessible for 1,000s of visitors each year! It’s a simple way to make a big impact.

Meet us at the green and white tent by the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center

Snacks and drinks will be available for volunteers who RSVP

Need a ride? Mason students, staff, and faculty can take the Mason Shuttle. Depart Sandy Creek Transit Center on Fairfax Campus at 9am to arrive on time. Depart Colgan Hall on SciTech Campus at 12pm or 2pm to return to Fairfax.
