12pm & 12:30pm | 30 min nature walk & 30 min meditation walk
Looking to get outdoors for a few minutes over lunch? Join staff members from The EDGE, our Team Development and Experiential Learning program on a 30-minute walk. There will be two choices. From 12pm to 12:30 there will be a nature walk. Then from 12:30pm to 1pm there will be a meditation walk. The start and end point for each is at the Corner Pocket.
12pm | Seated Meditation
Come join us as we take a moment to relax, free our mind, and reach a state of calmness together.
1pm | Bike maintenance demo
A member of our Outdoor Adventure program will demonstrate some basic bike maintenance. Then provide an opportunity to answer questions. If you have an issue with your bike that you would like him to check out sign up for a maintenance slot.
2pm | Jeopardy
Jeopardy: We will be playing Recreation Jeopardy! This will include topics on intramural sports, outdoor adventures, well-being, and more!
3pm |Bingo
Join us for some old school bingo! Bingo is a game of chance where each player attempts to be first to make a designated pattern on a randomized card with letter/number combinations called out by the game host. Winners will receive prizes!
4pm – 6pm | Postural Assessments and Q & A with the Trainer
A certified personal trainer will be available to complete a standing posture assessment and answer fitness related questions.
6pm – 7pm | Adult coloring
Take part in adult coloring with us to reduce stress, anxiety, improve your motor skills, and vision. Coloring is fun no matter what anyone else says.
6pm – 7pm Bracelets
Paracord Bracelets: Paracord bracelets are wrist adornments woven out of a strong cord that can be unraveled and used in survival situation by hikers, campers, and other outdoor enthusiasts. Beyond this practical use, paracord bracelets can simply be worn for style. All materials will be provided, and participants can learn how to make the bracelets on-site or pick up materials and instructions for a take-and-make activity.
Dress Casual (jeans ok)
Food Provided (Free ice cream while supplies last! Options will include gluten free, dairy free, nut free and more! )
