Mission
Our organization is dedicated to uniting Azerbaijani students at George Mason University and fostering a sense of community among them. We aim to introduce GMU students and staff to the rich culture, history, traditions, and cuisine of Azerbaijan through engaging events and activities. By offering guidance and support to incoming Azerbaijani freshmen, we strive to ease their transition to university life. Additionally, we are committed to increasing the presence of Azerbaijani students at GMU while promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of our country. Our ultimate goal is to inspire a love for Azerbaijan and share its unique heritage with the GMU community.

Mission
The UL Professional Staff Development program serves to design, implement, and evaluate intentional and meaningful professional development and personal enrichment opportunities aimed to meet the needs of the division at large. Congruence among UL core values, administrative faculty standards of professional practice, and classified staff universal performance expectations is foundational to programs.

University Life will develop an expanded professional development program that creates development training and growth opportunities to increase professional competencies. The professional development program will synergize our multiple efforts addressing performance management, leadership training, transition to division, and community building initiatives.

Strengthen staff professional development and create leadership opportunities within the division that expand division staff leadership capacity, advance the standards of professional practice and professional competencies, and embody University Life's core values.
