The Community Adjudication Board is a diverse group of trained Mason students who resolve allegations of misconduct as a means of providing Mason students the opportunity to have a fair and objective hearing before a representation of the Mason community. Maintaining accountability while influencing students and student organizations/groups to make effective and purposeful decision-making. The Board will follow established procedures and protocol and will seek to render decisions and recommend sanctions which are consistent with the Code of Student Conduct.

In the event of a tragedy or impactful event, the Mason Mental Health Task force will provide campus wide support details and resources for our students. They will also activate the "Patriot Community Gathering Spaces" to provide open spaces to gather, connect, and attend to the mental health and Well-Being needs of our community. Established in 1987, Early Identification Program (EIP) serves as the college preparatory program at George Mason University. With over 1,600 graduates, EIP provides access to educational resources for middle and high school students who will be the first in their families to attend a college or university. Currently, more than 600 enrolled students are actively pursuing higher education due to funding from our corporate alliances, individual donors, and our partnership with seven local public school systems in Northern Virginia. We collaborate with Fairfax County, Prince William County, Alexandria City, Arlington County, Falls Church City, Manassas City, and Manassas Park to nominate, select, support, retain, and graduate students each year.

EIP empowers students to achieve their goal of attaining higher education and succeeding once there. Our aim is to educate the whole student. We provide year-round academic enrichment, personal and social development, civic engagement, and leadership training opportunities. EIP ensures that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and intellect to become lifelong learners, leaders, and responsible global citizens.

The Patriot Alumni Liaisons (PAL) is a new initiative spearheaded by the OAR & OAG offices, focused on bridging the gap between current students of Mason & the 225,000+ alumni around the world, creating strong community networks, establishing student focused interactive programing, and introducing new concepts of philanthropy across the Mason community.

Made up of current students (lovingly referred to as "Pals"), the PAL group serves to provide a community for those at Mason who would like to get involved, volunteer while gaining real-world experience, and to have a direct impact on the continued growth of Mason's community through building a culture of philanthropy from the ground up.

The official launch date for PAL is set to coincide with the Patriot Block Party Bash on 9/21. At that point, we will be accepting official members.

In due time, this project hopes to see the Mason community buzzing with plenty of capable & friendly PALs!

The mission of the George Mason University Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB) is to ensure that the health and wellness of George Mason's student body are provided for by the University to the best possible extent. To do this, the SHAB will serve as a liaison between George Mason students and the administrators of the various student wellness offices on campus, including but not limited to:

Student Health Services (SHS)
Center for the Advancement of Well-Being (CWB)
Student Support and Advocacy Center (SSAC)
Disability Services (DS)
Overall, the three goals of the SHAB are to educate students about available healthcare services, collect feedback about suggested improvements to on-campus healthcare services, and provide input to the administration on necessary policy changes.

Student Health Services provides accessible and affordable health care to all currently enrolled Mason students in a caring and confidential environment. We offer a wide variety of services to keep our community healthy.

From diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, to immunizations and prescriptions, to nutrition counseling and physical exams, Student Health Services is here for Mason students. Call during open hours for appointments.

There is no charge to be seen by one of our healthcare providers. There are fees for lab tests, immunizations, medications, supplies, physical exams, procedures, and some office visits.
