Rush

What is Rush?

Rush is your a chance to get to know our fraternity and its brothers. We will have several rush events where potential members may come out, have a good time, and meet our brothers and other future members. It is your chance to decide if our fraternity would be a good fit for you.

When does Rush start?

Rush begins approximately two weeks after the start of the semester and lasts about two weeks. For Spring 2021, Rush starts on Tuesday, January 26th.

Does Rush cost anything?

Rush is entirely 100% free! All fun times and food will be provided to you by our chapter free of charge. If all goes well during Rush and everyone agrees there is a good fit for you in AEPi, then you can become a new member of AEPi.

Why AEPi?

AEPi is committed to building men of quality for their college years and beyond. We compete at the highest levels in the social, academic, and fundraising arenas. Almost every year, we're recognized for having the highest social fraternity GPA at George Mason University. Just this past year, we raised over $3,200 for our national philanthropy, the AEPi Repair the World Fund. Our brothers are leaders, many of whom are serving in Student Government, acting as Presidents of many of GMU's student organizations, or working in Washington DC for various Embassies and organizations. Joining AEPi means being a part of a close group of friends who support one another and have a great time together. Every brother is #proudtobeapi.

What is AEPi's Rush Schedule?

A schedule of Spring's Rush events is posted below. If you have any questions feel free to contact our Rush Chair, Lucas Frischling, at ÔÇ¡(703) 309-5656ÔǼ.

If I miss a rush event, can I still try to join AEPi?

Absolutely. We understand that everyone in college is busy, especially freshmen during the first few weeks of Fall semester. Just come whatever fits into your schedule. We encourage you to attend as many events as you can, as the more events you come to the more brothers you'll meet, and the better idea you'll have of if AEPi is the right fit for you.

Requirements:

In order to join Alpha Epsilon Pi at George Mason University a student in pursuit of his degree must be a full-time student with a minimum enrollment of 12 credits. He must also, after his first semester, maintain at least a cumulative 2.50 GPA to remain a member. All transfers are also eligible. If you do not fit in this category, you are still welcome to come out and meet us, and possibly join in the future once you become eligible to join.

Other Requirements:

Brothers are expected to attend weekly chapter meetings. They are also expected to represent both the brotherhood and the school in a professional manner.
